Download or move your site

Your website is yours. Export it any time as plain files that work on any host.

Download your files

  1. Open your pod in the portal and go to Files.
  2. Click Download ZIP and choose your draft, your live site, or any snapshot.
  3. Unzip it. You'll find index.html, your other pages, stylesheets, scripts and images, in the same folders as on your site.

Work on it locally

Open index.html in your browser, or edit the files in any code editor. When you're done, use Upload ZIP in the portal to replace your draft. Your current draft is saved as a snapshot first. Then preview and publish as usual.

Upload a site you already have

Any static website works: a folder with an index.html and its assets. Zip the folder and upload it. If everything is inside one top-level folder, we detect that automatically.

Coming from WordPress or another builder? Export a static copy first. Many builders have an "export HTML" option, and tools such as Simply Static do this for WordPress. Or just describe your business to the AI editor and let it build a fresh draft.

Move to another host

Download your live site and upload the files to your new host. Then update your domain's nameservers or DNS records to point at the new host. You can cancel SearchGo afterwards, and nothing about your files is SearchGo-specific.
